Epitaph for Italia, aged 40, dedicated to the

Manes gods (deities guarding the spirit of the dead). The simple text is engraved somewhat carelessly on a plaque that was originally placed upon some funerary monument in the

necropolis, in Praça da Figueira. An epigraph was found there, under unclear circumstances, shortly before the archaeological interventions of the 1960s.
